Ark of memories

This project was truly unique, as it was designed for a close friend returning to Poland after years of living abroad. The entire process was managed remotely – we were on-site in Poland, while Ania was based in Qatar.

Finding this apartment in a historic tenement house was the realization of a lifelong dream for her. The key challenge was to balance her vision as a fellow architect with the practical execution constraints and a fixed budget.

The result of this nearly two-year journey is an exceptionally eclectic, warm, and harmonious apartment, filled with art and located in the very heart of the city.

The space is the culmination of countless conversations and creative debates on how to blend Mexican, Polish, and Arab cultural influences while preserving the owner’s strong, distinct personality. A steel kitchen with mirrored surfaces, natural stone, and restored, century-old stuccowork are just the beginning of this story.
