Our story
Power of softness
There are materials you choose – and then there are materials that choose you. For me, copper has always been the latter. I have long been fascinated by its authenticity, its depth, and the way it reacts to light. It is not merely a surface; it is a living medium that actively co-creates a space. This philosophy became the starting point for my collaboration with Copper Philosophy – a meeting of two sensibilities rooted in the same core values: craftsmanship, quality, and boldness in design.
Our journey together began quite naturally, with the first projects implemented in my own studio. That is where large-format copper panels first appeared, not only complementing the space but bestowing upon it an entirely new identity. It was then that I realized copper’s potential extends far beyond the decorative – it can build atmosphere, drive the narrative of an interior, and even define its rhythm.
Our story
The result of this intuition was the “Power of the Softness” collection – the first line of decors I created in collaboration with Copper Philosophy. The concept was to reveal a completely different facet of copper. Instead of austerity and weight – softness. Instead of static form – movement. My inspiration was the ocean: its waves, its rhythm, and its constant mutability. Each line and every texture was designed to evoke the impression of gentle motion, as if the metal surface were breathing.
In designing this collection, my focus was on creating timeless forms that transcend fleeting trends. I believe that good design should endure rather than merely fascinate for a season. Copper, as a noble and durable material, embodies this ideal perfectly. In this collection, however, it takes on a new meaning – it becomes more sensual, subtle, and almost organic. This was an attempt to imbue it with feminine energy and to demonstrate that even the most “rigid” material can be a conduit for delicacy.
Our story
Craftsmanship is also a cornerstone of this collaboration. Every decor is handcrafted, and the creation process is a dialogue between design and material. This is not mass production; it is the conscious, slow construction of form, where every piece becomes unique. As a result, copper is no longer just a finish, but a full-fledged element of applied art.
What unites me with Copper Philosophy is a shared belief in design as an experience. It is not just about aesthetics, but about the emotions an interior evokes. This is why our projects often break the mold – copper appears not only as wall decor but as a structural element that builds the space and defines its mood.
This collaboration is more than just designing a collection; it is a process of discovering a material anew – its possibilities, its limits, and its potential. It is also proof that the true value of design is born where vision meets craftsmanship.
Ultimately, “Power of the Softness” is more than just a collection. It is a story about balance – between strength and delicacy, nature and form, matter and emotion. And a testament that even metal can flow.”
