Case study
A modernist apartment with a challenging functional layout, which we needed to adapt to the needs of a family of four.
Our clients already owned several beautiful pieces of furniture that they wanted to integrate into their new home. The project therefore focused on blending existing items full of character with new solutions to create a cohesive, harmonious whole.
During my very first visit, I knew that the hallway would become the heart of the interior. It was designed to be the focal point, featuring exposed, restored flooring and highlighted historic doors with unique muntin patterns.
The owners were also open to less conventional ideas. We introduced a playful, humorous element to the design: a small serving window connecting the kitchen to the hall. Although the main entrance to the kitchen is from the living room, everyone loved the vision of daily rituals – like passing freshly bought bread through this small opening.
